California Trip - Day 1

Gord and I started out on our Astro-Geek vacation in California Today. We left Winnipeg International Airport on time at 4:30pm (Central) and arrived in Los Angeles 20 minutes early, via a short stop over in Minneapolis, at 9:30pm (Pacific).

Short Trip through Los Angeles and surrounding cities (?), and we've safely arrived at our home for tonight, the lovely Pasadena Inn.

I'll get the camera ready to roll tonight, and plan to have it with me all day to take interesting pictures (like the 60+ feet palm trees we say on the way to Pasadena).

And then...bedtime, since tomorrow is going to be a long day of driving out to Riverside Astronomical Society's GMARS Site for their Retro Night Star Party, with the a healthy helping of "touristy" things.
